Kathleen L. Sanders, 82, of passed away Monday January 10, 2011 at Alden Alma Nelson Manor in Rockford. Kathleen was born May 9, 1928 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of Ellen Georgena Kelley and James O. Meadows. She married Edwin Sanders October 15, 1945 in Dallas, TX. She is survived by her daughter, Scherrie L. Uhlig of Rockford; son, David K. (Linda) Sanders of Stonefort, IL.; nine grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; son, Richard E. Sanders and sister Charlene Razook. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday January 15, 2011 at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th Street, Rochelle 815-562-6872 with Pastor Farrel Stauffer officiating, a one hour visitation will be held prior to services.
