Mamie L. Vogel, 96 of Dixon, formally of Ashton passed away April 6, 2011 at Heritage Square in Dixon. Mamie was born November 30, 1914 in Bellevue, TN. daughter of William Rust and Della Belle. She married Ralph Vogel June 22, 1945 in Nashville, TN.. She was a homemaker and helped on her family farm in Ashton, IL. until she retired in 1982 and moved to Dixon, Il.. She is survived by one brother, James Rust of Ohio; one half brother, Clyde Rust of Tennessee and one half sister, Betty Duncan Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; three brothers, Richard, Charlie and Jordan and one sister, Thelma Puttman. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday April 9, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church 803 Paddock, Ashton, Il. with a one hour visitation prior. Pastor Jonathan Black to officiate.
