Harold W. Lamb

Harold W. Lamb, 90, of Rochelle passed away June 15, 2011 at Rochelle Rehab & Health Care Center. He was born November 25, 1920 in Kentucky son of John and Maude Lamb. He married Marie Bell December 20, 1941 in Kentucky. He was a life time member of the New Life Foursquare Church., and was a Sunday school teacher for many years, he retired from Avery and loved to garden. Harold is survived by two sons, Charles W. (Shirley Smith) Lamb of Rochelle , Dale Lamb of New York; two daughters, Joanne Henry of Rochelle and Wanda (Frank) Sorrell of Florida; one brother, Willard (Christine) Lamb of Rockford; one sister, Irene Stepp of Rockford; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marie; two brothers, Milburn and Hurley; one son-in-law, Charles Henry. Graveside service will be held 11:30 am Saturday June 18, 2011 at Trinity Memory Gardens, Rochelle, Il., with Ken and Ann Erickson officiating. Memorials may be made to New Life Four Square Church of Rochelle.
