Ella E. Jacobs

Ella E. Jacobs, 89, of Franklin Grove, formerly of Ashton passed away September 15, 2011 at Franklin Grove Nursing Center. Ella was born November 22, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio daughter of Alva and Henrietta Hefley. She married John E. Jacobs May 25, 1947 in Oregon, Il. She is survived by her son, Carl (Sandy) Jacobs of Ashton; three daughters, Mary (Lloyd) Pretzsch of Franklin Grove, Joan (Jerry) Scheffler of Ashton and Lynn Reimer of Morrison, Il.; one brother Alva Hefley, Jr. of Morristown, PA.; twelve grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John and two brothers, David and Leonard Hefley. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Wednesday September 21, 2011 with a one hour visitation prior at Grace Fellowship Church in Ashton with Pastor Walter Philbrick officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday September 20, 2011 from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm at Coulon-Lyons Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 601 Richardson Ave. Ashton, Il.815-453-2441.
