Vera Joyce Miller, 81, of Ashton passed away November 5, 2012 at home. She was born June 1, 1931 in Paw Paw daughter of Benjamin and Etta (Baker) Ketchum. She married Orville Miller, Jr. On March 23, 1949 in Fergus Falls, MN.. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2009. Vera farmed next to her husband the majority of her life. She is survived by her four children, Bruce (Kathy) Miller of Dixon, Michael Miller of Ashton, Debra Argetsinger of Rochelle and Peggy Martinez of Rockford, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Saturday November 10, 2012 at Steward Cemetery, with Pastor Farell Stauffer officiating.
