Mildred M Trowbridge Mildred Trowbridge, 92, formerly of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away Sunday (January 20, 2013) at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Normal, Illinois. Mildred was born on May 6, 1920, in rural Chana, Illinois to George and Beatrice (Tilton) Van Hise. She married Cecil Trowbridge in Oregon, Illinois. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2000. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Frances Van Hise, Walter (Marilyn) Van Hise, Dean (Eloise) Van Hise and three sisters, Ethel Voss, Lois Van Hise and Ella Cavanna. Mildred is survived by her son, Dale (Cathy) Trowbridge, Normal, Illinois; siblings, Beulah (Louis) Reynolds, Show Low, Arizona, Anne (John) Bennett, Durham, North Carolina and Robert (Marguerite) Van Hise, Rochelle, Illinois; granddaughter Teresa (Joe) Craig, Metamora, Illinois; grandson Jon (Tammy) Trowbridge, Clover, South Carolina; and great-grandsons Jeff and Luke Trowbridge, Clover, South Carolina, and Bailey and Corey Craig, Metamora, Illinois. Mildred worked for Del Monte Foods, BorgWarner and Caron Spinning Co. She was a past member of the Methodist Church of Rochelle and Dixon. Mildred loved animals. She was especially fond of her pet dogs.
