Paul G. tePoele

Paul G. tePoele 77, of sandwich passed away February 19, 2012 at Valley West Community Hospital. He was born on June 29, 1935 in Vreden Germany to the late Heimrich and Johanna tePoele. Paul came from Vreden Germany in 1959 working at the Esquire Supper Club in down town Chicago. His lifelong love of his life followed from Germany, they were married on June 10, 1961. They bought Wrights Diner in 1974 and named it Paul’s Diner where fresh strawberry and banana cream pies were his trade mark. They worked very hard everyday and their American dream come true . Paul was always extremely generious and never said no to anyone in need. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Somonauk. He is survived by his children; Martin ( Elizabeth ) tePolele of Aurora, Andrew ( Doreen ) tePoele of Lewisville, TX and Doris Myers of LasVegas. 1 brother Henry ( Frances ) tePoele of Mountain Home, AR and l brothers and sisters still in Germany and 6 grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated March 1, 2013 at 10:30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Somonauk, IL. with the Rev. Thomas Brantman celebrant. Visitation will be held February 28, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL. www.beveragefamilyfh
