Janet Louise Jones

Janet Louise Jones 73 of Sandwich passed away at Central DuPage Hospital on April 12th 2013. She was born September 23th 1939 in Selinsgrove, PA. to the late Charles and Edna (Dreese) Stephens. She as active in the hospital auxiliary at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington , IL. for many years. Jan touched many lives with her kindness, sense of humor, and home baked goodies. She was also a very talented seamstress, making clothes and gifts for many people in her life. She is survived by her husband Don, 2 children Stephen (Gail) Jones of Wadsworth IL. and Raymond Jones of Trevor WI. 2 brothers Harry and Dean Stephens. 4 Grandchildren Kelly, Kristin, Kaitlin, and John. 4 Great Grandchildren Amelia, Annabelle, Willow and Noah. A Celebration of Jan’s life will be held at Alessandria’s on Saturday April 27th from 1 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Jan’s name. Family was assisted by Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL.
