Darrel G. Linscott

Darrel G Linscott 68 of Ashton passed away June 8th 2013 at his home. He was born July 9th 1944 in Rochelle, Illinois to the late Ronald and Mildred Linscott. He served in Vietnam with the United States Marines, and retired after 32 years from the Illinois Department of Transportation. He was also a member of the VFW Post 3878 in Rochelle. He is survived by his brothers, Allen Linscott of Dixon, Duane (Margaret) Linscott of Mount Morris and his sister Donna (William) Chick of PawPaw. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents ,and his wife Joyce. Funeral services will be Wednesday June 12th 2013 at 11:00 am at the Beverage Lyons Funeral Home Ashton, Illinois. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at the Ashton Cemetery, Ashton, Illinois.
