Robert Lanie Irvin

Robert Lanie Irvin 88, of Plano was called to be with our Lord on June 23, 2013 at Hillside Health Care Yorkville. He was born on June 13, 1925 in Lincoln County Kentucky to the late Blueford and Minnie ( Poynter ) Irvin. He was united in marriage to his loving wife Eilza Webb on September 10, 1945 in Standford, KY. He moved to Illinois in 1964 and made their home in Plano, he farmed all of his life and retired from Federal Huber. His favorite pass time was making everyone else's throw away his treasures. He was a member of the New Hope Apostolic Church in Yorkville, IL. He is survived by his 7 children; Carol ( Roger ) Weiss of Yorkville, Emma Louise ( John ) Tate of Sandwich, Roberta ( Bruce ) Brown of Utica and Minnie (Russ ) Bland of Earlville, Charlie ( Margo ) Irvin of Holdingford, MN Huston ( Lila ) Irvin of Ottawa and Allen ( Zeny ) Irvin of Plano. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren,20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eliza, daughter Linda Sue Irvin, grandson Nathan Irvin 3 sisters and 5 brothers. Funeral services will be held June 27, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral home 104 Terry St. sandwich with Rev. Samuel Irvin officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Helmar Cemetery Newark. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
