Marlene Anita Larson

Marlene A. Larson 75, of Ashton, IL. Passed away July 11th 2013 at KSB Hospital Dixon, IL. She was born on May 17th 1938 to the late Adolf and Alvina Kuffel in Spring Valley, IL. She graduated from St. Anthony’s Nursing Program in Rockford, IL. She married Ron on September 19, 1959 in Walton, IL. She worked for St Anthony’s Medical Center and Rochelle Community Hospital before joining her husband Ron at Ron’s Food Market in Ashton, IL. She like to vacation and fish up north in Wisconsin, she loved going to her grandchildren and later her great grandchildren’s sporting events. She is survived by her husband Ron, Son Jeff (Susan) Larson, Daughter Vicki (James) Essex all of Ashton, IL. 2 sisters; Janice (Donald) Reinhold of Franklin Grove, IL. And Leanne (Dale) Vesta of Sycamore, IL. She also leaves behind precious grandchildren; Patrick, Alyssa, Michael and Alisyn, and precious great grandchildren Mason and Noah. Visitation will be Sunday July 14, 2013 from 2-6 p.m. at the Beverage – Lyons Family Funeral Home 601 Richardson St. Ashton, IL. Funeral service will be held Monday July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Ashton, IL. With a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the Church, with Rev.
