Wendal William Dummer

Wendal William Dummer 96 of Creston, Illinois passed away August 3rd, 2013 at Rochelle Health Care and Rehabilitation. He was born November 30, 1916 in Kings Illinois to Fred and Effie Dummer. He married Ruth L. Spitser on March 18, 1949 in Nashua, Iowa. He was a Farmer and farmed all his life in Creston Illinois. He is survived by his son Richard ( Pat) Dummer of Rochelle, Illinois. His daughter Mary (Roger) Smith of Kirkland, Illinois. His Brother F. Wayne ( Janet) Dummer of Lindenwood, Illinois .Sisters Elna Skinner and Donna (Robert) Dietrich. Seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruth in 2000.Sisters Marjorie Gustafson and Veda DeCourcy and one sister at infancy. Services for Mr. Dummer will be Tuesday August 6th2013 at 12:00 oclock at the Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home in Rochelle Illinois. Chaplain Judy Williams will be officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the Funeral service. Interment will follow at the Stillman Valley Cemetery in Stillman Valley.
