Josephine R. Sammons 96, of Lemont passed away August 2 24, 2013. She was born on July 6, 1917.She is survived by many nieces nephews and 2 very close friends Noreen Halligan and Cindy Jourdan. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, 8 sisters and brothers; Ann Shifter, Frances ( Peter ) Dreschler, Mary ( Frank ) Hassler, Stephen ( Clara ) Kashanitz, Otto Kashanitz, Herman ( Eleanor ) Kashanitz, Michael Kashanitz and Elizabeth ( Milford ) Dean. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday August 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Franciscan Village Chapel 1270 Franciscan Dr. Lemont IL. she will lay in state from 10:00 a.m. till the time of service.
