Gladys May Anthenat

Gladys May Anthenat 93 of Sandwich passed away Monday August 26th 2013 at Sandwich Rehabilitation and Health care. She was born October 8th 1919 to John and Addie(Nettlingham) Jensen in Adams Township, Illinois. She married Earl Anthenat in Alden Iowa on January 16th 1938. She was a dedicated wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother and sister who devoted her life to her family. She is survived by her children; Barbara Anthenat of Sandwich, Kathleen (Jim) Brewer of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Phillip Anthenat of Sandwich, Ronald (Ruth) Anthenat of Plano, Stephen Anthenat of Sandwich and Kerry(Sheri) Anthenat of Sandwich. Her brother Laverne Jensen, sister Evelyn Dahl, and sister-in-law Charlotte Anthenat. 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Earl 10/6/1975, her brother Frank Jensen and her sisters; Lucille Palmatier, Luella Larson, Florence Noll, and daughter-in-law Judy (Reeves) Anthenat. Funeral services for Mrs. Anthenat will be Saturday August 31st 2013 at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Nathan Wells officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
