Erwin Merritt Scott

Erwin Merritt Scott 88 of Sandwich passed away August 27, 2013 at Sandwich Rehabilitation and Healthcare. He was born January 28th, 1925 to Carl and Marian (Brackett) in Aurora, Illinois. He married Margaret Mccoy in Hatley Wisconsin on May 1st 1948 and was married 65 years until his passing. He was a dairy farmer for 8 years in Marshfield Wisconsin. He loved his cows and would even name them. He is survived by his wife Margaret, his children Wesley (Diane)Scott of Yorkville and Barbara (Richard) Rothlisberger of Sandwich. His brothers; Austin(Amy) of Oswego, Illinois and Carl of Hardy ,Arkansas. Three grandchildren; Leslie, Lindsay, and Adam. Five great grandchildren; Matthew, Michaela, Logan, Teresa, and Riley. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Winifred and a sister Grace Sanders and his brother Hoyt. Funeral services for Mr Scott will be Friday August 30th, 2013 at 5p.m. at Beverage Family Funeral Home with Pastor Don Ridder officiating. Visitation will be from 2p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date in West Big Rock Cemetery.
