Donald Lee Chaplin

Donald Lee Chaplin 51 passed away at his home on September 9th 2013. He was born on December 11th1961 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Donald and Rose(Holloway) Chaplin . He was taught masonry by his father in law and was a mason for 30 years, being very proud of his craft. For the last five years worked at Valley West Hospital as a Janitor. He loved cooking his “feast” on Thanksgiving for the family at the cabin. His cooking always brought the family together. He also took a special interest in boy scouting with his grandson. He is survive d by his wife Adele, his Mother Rose; brother Ken Chaplin; his sister Donna Chaplin; his son David Chaplin and daughters; Stephanie Fitzgerald, and Jessica (Harr) Gottberg; adopted grandson Dylan Chaplin, eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father Donald Chaplin, both maternal and paternal grandparents and his nephew Jamie lee Chaplin. Visitation for Don will be Friday September 13th, 2013 at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich from 4:00-7:00p.m. Funeral services will be at 7:00p.m at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich will Pastor Peter Hoffman.
