Gertrude Irene Kinsel

Gertrude Irene Kinsel passed away peacefully at Hillside Rehab and Care Center in Yorkville on October 7, 2013. She was born October 15, 1934 in Serena, Illinois to Emil and Anna (Lockinger) Gauer. She married Evertt Kinsel on August 20,1953 at St Mary’s in Plano, Illinois. They were happily married Until his passing in February 9, 1970. Gertrude worked at Federal Huber for 25 years, then at State Farm until her retirement in December 1998. She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bulls and Bears fan. She loved playing cards, eating out with friends, Crossword puzzles, country music and was an animal lover. She is survived by her nieces; Linda (Cliff) Oleson of Plano, Illinois, Debbie LeGro of Plano Illinois, Mary Flood of Mesa Arizona, Nancy (Harold)Olsen of Arlington Illinois, Bonnie (Joe)Lemke of Sandwich, Illinois, her nephews ; David (Karen) Gauer of Meza Arizona, and Bob Walseth of Sandwich, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett, and her sisters Dorothy Walseth, and Clara LeGro, her brother Lester Gauer. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. the Beverage Family funeral home, Sandwich, Illinois with Father Michael Callea M.I.C. officiating.
