Beth Allene Peterson

Beth A. Peterson 91, of Sandwich passed away December 17, 2013 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion. She was born on August 24, 1922 in Chadwick, IL. to the late Ralph and Florence ( Naniga ) Anderson. She was a 1939 Graduate of Chadwick High School at the age of 16 and a Graduate of Frances Shimer College where she received her teaching degree and taught at Mt Carroll , IL. She married George Peterson on May 20, 1943 in Tampico, IL. She taught Sunday School for 75 year and was a member of the United Church of Sandwich.They came to Sandwich in 1959 and began farming north of town. She is survived by her Children; Karna ( Ronald ) Neitz and Kevin J. Peterson all of Sandwich. 1 Sister; Carol Erickson of Sandwich, 4 grandchildren; Erwin ( Holly ) Osborn, David ( Liz ) Osborn, William Osborn and Sarah Beth Osborn, 3 great grandchildren; Avry, Zachery and Preston. She is preceded in death by her parents her husband George 1996 her son Nelson ( Nels ) 1993 and sister Arliss Spencer Funeral services will be held Friday December 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Church of Sandwich with Rev.
