James Allen Whitney

James Allen Whitney 50 of Sandwich passed away at his home. He was born in Sandwich Illinois on March 17 1963 to Dennis and Sharon ( Quade) Whitney. He graduated from Somonauk High School in 1981. He attended Waubonsee Community College and then graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in drafting. He was an excellent carpenter and draftsman. He drew up the plans for his parents’ home in Somonauk and then helped build it. He is survived by his parents Dennis and Sharon Whitney of Gastonia North Carolina, his son Clinton (Shannon Ballard) Whitney of Newark Illinois, his sisters Julie Ann Cicci of Aurora Illinois and Jacqueline Marie Williams of Belmont North Carolina, several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews and the mother of his son Susan Whitney of Somonauk. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparent and maternal grandparents.
