Shirley Yvonne Brand

Shirley Yvonne Brand 76 of Bristol passed away at her home on Monday January 20, 2014. She was born on May 28 1937 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. She married Harold Brand on December 31 1970 in Plano Illinois. She worked and retired from Caterpillar. She loved to travel, and go to the casinos. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for banquets. She also loved shopping. She is survived by her husband Harold, her children, Patricia (John) Porter of Clearwater Florida, Sandy (Ray) Bunch, Amanda Singleton of Sandwich Illinois, and Linda Gengler of Pahrum Neveda, Marvin Blackwell, and Brenda Moorehead of Somonauk Illinois, Leora Williams of Akron, Ohio and Harold Brand Jr. of Malta. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Lori Dreps, sons, Robert Brand and Randy Shelton, and three grandchildren Alisha, Brandon and Neil. Funeral services for Shirley will be Friday January 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery Sandwich Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
