Vivian Ruth Vermeland

Vivian Ruth Vermeland, 91 0f Sandwich passed away at Willow Crest Nursing Home on Thursday January 23, 2014. She was born on May 4 1922 in Ottawa, Illinois. She married Byron Vermeland on September 23 1937. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt, bake and watch the Bulls and Cubs. She is survived by her son Larry (Diane) Vermeland of Sandwich, Illinois, her daughter in law Janet Vermeland of Sandwich Illinois, her grandchildren Vickie (John) Koester Mike (Michelle) Vermeland,,Steve (Becky) Vermeland ,Mark (Margo) Vermeland, Kelly (Robert) Hoffert, Wendy (Jim) Campbell, 14 great Grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Byron, her son Dale and her brothers; Russell, Donald, Ronald, and Elton. Funeral services for Vivian will be Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 12:00p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home with Reverend Michelle Prentice-Leslie officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Sandwich. Visitation will be 10:00 am until the time of service.
