Robert ( Bob) Benton Terry

Robert B. (Bob) Terry, 87 of Ottawa formerly of Sandwich passed away February 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born on April 13 1926 in Leland Illinois to Richard and Anna (Carr) Terry. He was a carpenter in the area his whole life. He was in the U.S. Army during WW II with the 4th infantry division. He is survived by his children; Carol Gibson of Newtown West Virginia, Michael (Lisa) Terry of Sheridan Illinois, and Jennifer (Dennis Shumway) Terry of Ottawa, his five grandchildren; Tara, Tracy, Zach, Katelyn, Kyle, and his great grandchildren; Mike, Kaeli, Carly, and Brody. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary nee Titzel in 1987, his sisters, Ruth Duffy, Katherine Stratton, and his brothers, Richard Jr. and Ralph. Memorial Service will be on Friday February 7, 2014 at 7:00p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home with Pastor William Davis officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.
