Rita Yvonne Woody

Rita Yvonne Woody 79, of Sandwich passed away February 11, 2014 with Jimmy, Stacy, Deb and Steve at her side at Edward Hospital Naperville, IL. She was born on October 12, 1934 in Serena , IL. to the late Raymond and Bertha ( Anderson ) Kuehlem. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Sandwich, IL. She worked as a teenager at Woodward Memorial Hospital in Sandwich and followed to the new hospital ( Sandwich Community Hospital ) working as a Nurses Aid in the ICU for many years. She loved to travel, her and Jimmy traveled as much as possible during their retirement. Her biggest joy in life was her family and her grandchildren. She leaves behind her husband Jimmy, her daughters Debra ( Dennis ) Miller of Quincy, IL. and Stacy ( Doug ) Leasure of Somonauk. Son in law Steve Jendruczek Her sister Betty Bastian, 3 grandchildren Tasha ( John ) Voga, Michael ( Tracy ) Jendruczek and Katie Leasure, 3 great grandchildren Nina Voga, Austyn Voga and Tannor Jenruczek. She also leaves behind several brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Kathy 1981. Funeral services will be held Friday February 14, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL. with Rev. Wayne Derber officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery .
