Leslie Eugene Shepard

Leslie E. Shepard 88, of Sheridan passed away February 16th 2014 at his home. He was born on December 22nd 1925 in Henry Il. to the late Walter and Bessie ( Beckley ) Shepard. He was a farmer, worked for Western Electric and for Burlington Rail Road , he served in WWII with the US. Marine Corps. He is survived by his daughter Julia Shepard of Crystal Lake, IL. and son Leslie ( Becky ) Shepard of Ottawa, IL. Sister Lucille Blazek of Leland. He also leaves behind 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald. No funeral services are planned, interment of ash’s will take place at a later date at Little Indian Cemetery Leland, IL. Services were provided by Beverage family Funeral Home, Sandwich, IL.
