Adeline Helen O'Connell

Adeline Helen O’Connell 87 of Somonauk passed away at her home on Thursday March 27 2014. She was born on May 31, 1926 to Paul and Gladys (Berthius) Stark in Chicago Illinois. She married Thomas John O’Connell and was happily married until his passing on November 15 1995. Adeline was a secretary for Studebaker in Elmhurst Illinois, Mercedes Benz in Melrose Park Illinois and Fenton High School in Bensenville, Illinois. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lake Holiday Garden Club and the Red Hat Society. She volunteered at Fox Valley Older Adults, and Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich Illinois. She is survived by her children; Thomas II (Mary) O’Connell of Warrenville Illinois and Colleen Cline of Sandwich Illinois; 5 grandchildren Thomas III (Robin) O’Connell, Michael Lee (Tammy) O’Connell, Tara Nicole (Brandon) Lara, Cory Eugene (Christine) Cline, and Anthony Ridell Cline; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas and a brother Eugene Stark. Funeral Services for Adeline will be Monday March 31 2014 at 7 p.m.at Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich Illinois. Visitation will from 4:00-7:00p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
