Otis Henry Young

Otis Henry Young 92 of Downers Grove passed away Saturday March 29 2014. He was born on December 8 1921 in Chicago Illinois to Charles and Louise (Field) Young. He flew a B-25 Bomber in WWII as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was also a salesman for Airco. He is survived by his children; Charles D. (Peach) Young, Donna (David) Mathews Kenneth (Lesann) Young, and Kathryn (Robert) Vann. He also leaves behind his grandchildren; Tanner, Charles, Sarah, Christopher, Connor, Grant, Kristina, Taylor and Erik, and his great grandchildren Liam, Teaghan, Ethan and Porter. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jean who passed away July 11 2012, his son Otis (Pem), and a brother Charles Drew Jr. Services will be Wednesday April2 2014at 11: a.m. at Toons Funeral Home in Downers Grove, Illinois. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge in Hillside Illinois. Beverage Family Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
