Jon Glenn Swanson

Jon Glenn Swanson age 50 of Earlville, unexpectedly passed away on August 8, 2014. Jon was born February 28, 1964 to Donald and Jane Swanson and was raised in Darien, IL. Jon was the loving husband of Lisa (nee Hostad) and very proud daddy of Carl Jon, 7 and Carina Lynne, 6. He is survived by his mother, sister Lynne (Doug) Suhling and brother Erik (Julie) Swanson. Jon was the much adored uncle of Jonathan, Kristen, and Emily Swanson and Katie and Charlie Suhling. Jon, a trusted employee, will also be missed by his family at Diamond/Naperville Ready Mix. Jon loved to fish, ride bikes and cook-out with his family. He could repair anything and was afraid of nothing. Spending as much time as possible with his family was most important to him; he was truly a dedicated family man. Jon was preceded in death by his father, Donald and his niece, Mary Elizabeth .A Memorial Service and picnic will be held for Jon on Saturday, August 23rd, from 12 -6 at Big Rock Park District, 7S405 Madison Avenue, Big Rock, IL 60511.
