Janet Louise Childress

Janet L. (Sestak) Childress age 57 of Sandwich passed away at her home August 30, 2014. She was born on December 26, 1956 in Chicago, IL. to the late Louis and Carol (Dvorak) Sestak. She was employed by the City of Aurora for many years. She was a devoted White Sox fan and a NASCAR enthusiast. Every free moment she had was spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Eddie) Koley of Sandwich IL., son Jeffrey (Karen) Childress of Sandwich IL.; grandchildren Taylor, Hayley, Reigin and Wyatt of Sandwich, and Trey and Alyssa of Sycamore IL.and 1 great granddaughter, Evelyn of Sandwich IL. 2 sisters; Susan (Larry) Kendoza of MaplePark, IL. and Beth Broyles of Evanston, IL.and 1 brother David (Dora) Sestak of Redondo Beach California and Father Bob Broyles of St. Charles IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Childress, her mother Carol (Sestak) Broyles and her brother Danny Broyles. The Family believes that Heaven was granted a true Angel on this day. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 4th 201 at the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1022 N Main Street Sandwich IL. from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday September 5th 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Reverend Wayne Derber officiating.
