Betty Ann Krigbaum

Betty Ann Krigbaum, 70, of Ashton passed away peacefully at Serenity Hospice Home in Oregon, IL. on September 21, 2014. She was born on December 30, 1943 in Rochelle IL. to Charles and Rogene (Williams) Atkinson. She married Jackie R Krigbaum on November 24, 1962 in Ashton, IL. Betty worked for many years at Eaton Corp. in Rochelle. She was also a CNA in Illinois and Indiana, helped to manage a truck stop in Indiana, was a cook at Meadows in Franklin grove and was a housekeeper at KSB hospital in Dixon. She is survived by her husband Jackie of Ashton; her children, Jack (Kim) Krigbaum of German Valley, IL. and Karmen (Merl) Sage of Franklin Grove IL.; her grandchildren Ethan, Troy, Broc, Tassie, Cora, Conrad, Heinrich, and Hattie Krigbaum, Steven, Garrett Sage and Shannon (Sarah) Hinrichs; great grandchildren ; Hunter, Hannah, Hallie, and Hazel Hinrichs of Rockford, IL. and her sister, Linda (Don) Dickey of Ashton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepdaughter Sheila Hinrichs. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home in Ashton. Funeral Services for Betty will be Thursday September 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Brian McWethy officiating. Interment will follow at the Ashton Cemetery.
