Robert Leland Whaley

Robert Leland Whaley 71, of Rochelle passed away November 1, 2014 at Middleton VA Hospital Madison, WI. He was born on February 23, 1943 to H. Eugene and Eillen Whaley at Lincoln Hospital Rochelle, IL. He served his country during the Viet Nam War era with the US. Army stationed in Germany. He farmed and loved everything about it, his garden and raising animals was his pleasure. He enjoyed every Tuesday going to the Chana sales. He is survived by his father H. Eugene Whaley of Rochelle, sister Betty ( Bill ) Schabacker of Chana and their children, his brother Dennis ( Donna ) Whaley of Earlville and their children Donald ( Brenda ) Whaley of Rochelle, Kim ( Dave ) Bradford of Davis Junction and their child Jacob and Jeff ( Melody ) Hyde and their children. Visitation will be Friday November 7, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th St Rochelle,IL. Funeral service will be held Saturday November 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Private inurnment will take place at Flagg Cemetery.www.beveragelyonsfamilyfh.com
