James T. Johnson 84 of Sandwich passed away November 19, 2014 at Valley West Hospital. He was born on May 25 1930 in Wisconsin to Elmer and Dorothy Johnson. He graduated from East Aurora High School in 1948. He worked and retired after 41 years as a brakeman and conductor on the Burlington Northern Railroad, and he was a Missionary Director at the Orchard Valley Baptist Church in Aurora, Illinois. He is survived by his wife Patsy, his 3 children; Keith (Brenda) Johnson of Indiana, Craig B. (Mimi) Johnson, missionaries in India, and Keel (Don) Johnston of Carlin Nevada; and step children Michael (Linda) Szot of Geneva, IL., Debra (Bill) Knudsen of Elgin, Il., Jim Szot of WA, Tim (Diane) Szot of Montgomery, IL., Kathy Szot of Georgia and Steven Szot of WA; and a sister in law Wanda Johnson of WA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bob Johnson. Memorial service will be Sunday November 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fox River Lutheran Church Corner of Rt. 71 and Rt. 52 in Sheridan, Il. with Kevin Garner officiating.
