ROCHELLE — Francisca Anaya de Quinonez, 83, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. She was born in Guanaceby, Durango, Mexico, on Aug. 2, 1931. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by her soulmate, her husband Ramon Q. Quinonez, of 63 years, and her pride and joy, her children, Carmen M. Schmidt, Juan I. Quinonez, Salvador R. Quinonez, Lino Quinonez, Luis A. Quinonez, Socorro Rodriguez, Francisco A. Quinonez, Margarita R. Buckner and Maria Cleotilde Taylor. Francisca was blessed to also be surrounded by 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren that are her legacy. Francisca’s passion for her family was evident in everything she did. No matter how much or little they had, she made the most of it and ensured that all her family were provided for. Her children still remember how hard she worked to make sure that they had what they needed. Francisca desired nothing more than to help others first and never turned away anyone in need. Her cooking was always the center of attention when her family and friends would get together. In the end, she was at peace with God and blessed to have her family with her.
