Richard Lee Johnson

Richard Lee Johnson 71, of Sandwich passed away March 26th 2015 at Rush Copley Medical Center Aurora . He was born on March 11th 1944 in Yorkville, IL to the late Melvin and Cecelia Johnson. He married Donna Casner on September 28th 1970 and raised his family in Sandwich, IL. He taught his children and grandchildren to love, laugh and fish. Richard will forever be remembered for the joy he spread and inner strength he portrayed. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, and a loving family, daughter Kimberly Ann Johnson. Granddaughter Brook Johnson Rennicks her husband Matthew and great granddaughter Keira Ann. Son; Michael Curtis Johnson and his wife Terri Jones Johnson grand daughters Samantha Lynn, Jennifer Troy and Kaylee May Johnson, Daughter Barbara Johnson Troyer her husband Eric Thomas Troyer, grandsons Thomas Jacob ( TJ ), Caleb Robert and granddaughter Lydia Rae Troyer. He also leaves behind his dog Storm who he deeply cared for. Visitation will be held Monday March 30th 2014 at Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL. From 4-8 p.m. There will no funeral service.
