Archie Jacob Bower

Archie J. Bower 85, of Rochelle passed away at his home July 6, 2015. He was born on May 27, 1930 in White Hall, IL. To the late Archie and Madalyn Bower. He served his country during late 40’s and early 50’s with the US Army. He married his sweetheart Glenna Spencer on October 20, 1950 in Arkansas. He was a Member of the Rochelle VFW, 1st Presbyterian Church of Rochelle, coached little league baseball, loved baseball football and racing go carts. He is survived by his sons; Robert ( Kathy ) Bower of Union Grove, WI. James ( Bonnie ) Bower of Rochelle, Dustin ( Shelley ) Bower of Rock Falls and his daughter Tiia ( David ) Willard of Oregon. 1 sister Norma of Virden, IL. And 16 precious grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Glenna 1995, brothers Bob, George and Gary and sisters Virginia and Vivian. Funeral Services will be Friday July 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home 704 N. 6th St. Rochelle, IL Rev. James Tilley officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Lawn Ridge Cemetery
