Robert Dee Hardcastle

Robert Dee Hardcastle 83, of Rochelle passed away August 12, 2015 at Swedish American Hospital Rockford, He was born May 13, 1932 to the late Earl and Rae ( Jennings ) Hardcastle in Squires, MO. He retired from Amerock in Rockford . He was married for 52 years to Sandra Trothing November 2, 1963 in Rochelle . He was a hardworking and private man, he tried to always do the right thing. His humor, quiet strength and steadfast devotion to his children and family was his legacy. He enjoyed fishing, reading and mostly his family. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his 6 children; Cathy Haas , Richard ( Barb ), Steve, Jeff, Paul ( Michele ) and Jill Sanders all of Rochelle. Sisters; Mildred Pueppke, Freeda Adams, Betty Taylor and Alta McGill all of MO. Brothers Earl Jr and Don of Rochelle. Grandchildren; Belinda, Dillon, Melissa, Jennifer, Dustin, Alec, Zoe, Ryan, Zachary and MacKenzie. Great grandchildren; Dominic, Evan, Aydan, Aubry, Liam, Kyla, Elise, Ella ,Delani, Maddox and Riley. He is preceded in death by his parents, his Brother Eldon and grandson Matthew. Private graveside services will be held at Lawnridge Cemetery Rochelle.
