Elwood Donald Voss

Elwood Donald Voss, 54 of Ashton, passed away suddenly on November 3, 2015 at his home. He was born in Dixon Illinois to Elwood John Voss and Margaret (Mabrey) Arthurs. He was a diehard Bears fan. He loved woodworking, gardening and anything he could cook on a grill. One of his joys was working on antique tractors and nothing was more satisfying than when they were reassembled and actually ran He is survived by his children Ashley Voss of Springfield, IL, Jonathan and Nathaniel Voss both of Ashton, his father, Elwood John Voss of Ashton, his 2 sisters Vicki Voss of Rock Falls, IL, and Marina Voss of Wheaton, IL, and his brother Randy (Rachel) Voss of Port St. Lucie FL. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret and his brother Ronald. Visitation will be Friday November 13, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home Ashton, IL. A grave side Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 14, 2015 at 11am at the Ashton Cemetery.
