Lyndon Logan “Farmer” Ogden, 89, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, departed this life on October 31, 2015 at the Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born December 22, 1925 to Logan and Edythe Ogden in Fairfield, Iowa. He married Barbara Johnston on March 1, 1947 in a double ring ceremony with friends. Lyndon was a farmer in Iowa for many years, then started his truck driving career with Midwest Emery in 1955. After moving to Ashton, Illinois in 1972, he drove for Forney Trucking from 1975 up until he retired in 1988. He enjoyed gardening and the company of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, wife Barbara and great-grandson Micah Ogden. Survivors include one son, Jeff (Patti) Ogden of Pocahontas, Arkansas, Grandchildren Chad (Patricia) Ogden of Phoenix, Arizona and Heather (Chris) McGuire of Pocahontas, Arkansas and six great grandchildren.
