Edward Allen Hoffman

Edward Allen Hoffman, 92 of Sandwich, IL passed away at his home on November 21, 2015 with his family by his side. He was born in January 6, 1923 to Adam and Ruth Hoffman of Columbus Ohio. He met and married Gloria Babka and was happily married for 68 years, although they were together for 74 wonderful years. He entered the Army in 1943. He was in WWII in the South Philippines and was honorably discharged in 1946. He spent his career in the Construction and Building industry, retiring from Heitkotter, Inc. in 1991. He loved family vacations, road trips, spending time with his family, traveling with his wife Gloria and friends in his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons; Paul, Mike, Peter and Dave, his eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorial services for Edward will be held on December 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation held from 5:00 p.m. till the time of service at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 2465 W. Sandwich Rd, Sandwich, Illinois 60548 with Pastor David Kaul officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS National Service Foundation, P.O.
