Janice Kay Heinhorst

Janice Kay Heinhorst 77, of Ashton, passed away on November 26, 2015, at the age of 77 with her family by her side. She was born on February 15, 1938 in Pekin, IL., to Melvin and Alice (Grob) Meyer. She was a Dietary Supervisor and worked in the Food industry. Jan was loved by her children and will be missed. She is survived by her children; Marc (Michelle) Heinhorst of Rockford, IL., Robert (Patty Ann) Heinhorst of Manito, IL., Shelby Howlett of Ashton, IL., and Heidi Heinhorst of Suffolk VA., 2 grandchildren; Ashley Bienemann and Byron Howlett, and 1 great grandchild, Mason Bienemann. Several Step Grand and great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents. At Jan’s request services will be a family graveside service in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito IL, and a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Rockford Rescue Mission 715 W.
