Darlene Ann Basile

Darlene Ann Basile, 72 of Yorkville passed away at her home on January 28, 2016. She was born on February 27, 1943 to John and Eleanor (Trip) Lowe in Chicago Illinois. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Yorkville, was an avid Blackhawks fan, enjoyed bingo, doing crafts and especially baking Italian cookies. She is survived by her husband of 56 years John Basile, her children: Linda (Michael Ciboroski) Basile of Ohio, IL, Lori (Jeffery) Plass of Leland, Leslie (Brian Fredrick) Basile and Leigh (Mark) Jilbert both of Sandwich. One sister Marilyn J. Meo of Montgomery, IL. Sister in law Nicoletta Johns of Yorkville, brother in law Peter Basile of Wilmette, IL. 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on February 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich Illinois, with Fr. Matthew Lamoureux MIC officiating. Visitation will from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery Sandwich, IL In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
