Lyle William Hardekopf

Lyle W. Hardekopf 76, of Sheridan passed away April 5, 2016 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion Sandwich, IL He was born on October 25, 1939 in Sandwich IL. to Clarence and Ronelva ( Bagwill ) Hardekopf. Lyle was a graduate of Sandwich TWP High School 1957. He married Joan Bark on October 29, 1960 in Sandwich, IL. spending 55 wonderful years together. He served his country with the US Army Reserves 1963- 1969. He was had been employed with Barber Greene Co. Stout Woodworking, Wilkening Woodworking and later self employed as a wood worker. He is survived by his Loving wife Joan, his mother Ronelva, sister Lelia Hardekopf , his brother Don’s family and his in laws the Bark family and Gengler family. He is preceded in death by his father Clarence in 1974 and brother Don in 2002. Memorial service will be held Friday April 8, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry St. Sandwich, IL with Rev. Steve Mindrup officiating. Visitation will be held same day from 10:00 am. till the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Sandwich Stone Mill Museum or donor’s choice. www.beveragefamilyfh.com
