Neil Warren Miller

Neil Warren Miller 60 of Ashton, Illinois passed away on June 18, 2016. He was born on July 28, 1955 to Daniel and Jean (Fisk) Miller in Rochelle, Illinois. He married Susan Gittleson on September 1 1984 at the Reynolds Church in Ashton, and spent the next 32 years happily married. Neil was a Bradford Township Trustee, was a Private pilot building his own plane and flying it. In the 80’s he was a DJ known as the Miller Music Machine and he was a licensed electrician until his retirement. He is survived by his wife Susie, his father Daniel and his children; Jason (April) and Daniel Miller all of Ashton. A sister Nancy Miller of Rockford, Illinois and a brother Gary (Kathy) Miller of West Brooklyn, several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins and especially his grand dogs, Diesel, Crash, and Oscar. He was preceded in death by his mother Jean. Visitation for Neil will on Friday June 24, 2016 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. at the Beverage Lyons Family Funeral Home in Ashton, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Reynolds Methodist Church in Ashton, IL. with Reverend Seamus Enright officiating. Interment will follow at the Bradford Cemetery in Franklin Grove, Illinois. Memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice or Ashton Rescue Squad.
