David Ray Smith July 30, 1980-July 1, 2016 David Smith, 35 of Rochelle, IL passed away on July 1st, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 30th 1980 in Rochelle to Jimmy R. Smit and Janie Frias. He was known as a jokester and loved to make people laugh. His smile was contagious. His hobbies were basketball, listening to music, going to concerts. He loved his son more than anything else in this world. Losing someone like him is a loss for the world and a huge loss to his family and friends. Who David truly was will live on through his mother; Janie Frias, father; Jimmy Smith, brothers; Jason Smith and Michael Smith, and other family members. While his legacy will be carried on through his son Cain Alexander Smith. When it came to David the bond between family meant everything. One of his greatest bonds was with his cousins. His best moments and memories will be treasured forever. Service will be held at Harvest Baptist Church (241 Scott Ave) on Thursday, July 7th 2016 at 10:00am.
