Veda Jean Mckee

Veda Jean McKee, 88 of Sandwich passed away at her home on July 8, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 6 1928 to Alfred and Grace (Anthenat) Caqueline. Veda own and operated Veda’s tanning salon in Sandwich for 25 years, was avid shopper , loved jewelry, traveling, especially going to Hawaii which she did 10 times, her grandchildren and great grandchildren and chocolate. She is survived by her children; Veronica Stein of Sandwich, Veldon (Lillian) Oleson of Downers Grove, Vanessa Griffith of Sandwich, Lisa (Dan) Henderson of Sandwich, and Ericka (Jeff) Sherwood of Oswego, 9 grandchildren ; Travis Stein, Torrey (Jennifer) Stein, Tysen (Amy) Stein, Rory Oleson, Korrie (Stephanie) Griffith, Danny Henderson, Luke Henderson, Tiffanie Henderson, and Conner Sherwood ,and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wilbur McKee who passed away in 2013, and a son-in-law Michael Griffith. Visitation will be held at Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich on Wednesday July 13, 2016 from 9:00-11:00a.m. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Christopher E.
