Betty Lou Herman

Betty Lou Herman 87 of Sandwich passed away September 7, 2016 at Autumn Leaves in Oswego, IL. She was born on October 6 1928 to Randall and Lucille (Hyde) Miller in Northville Township. She married Fred Herman and was happily married until his passing in September 22, 2008. She is survived by her children; Mark Herman of Denver Co. Kellie (Charlie) Abens of Sandwich, IL, 2 grandchildren Randi (Matt) Nelson, and Mackenzie (James Raines) Abens both of Sandwich, IL. great grandchildren Luke Nelson, Knox and Krew Raines. Her sister Elaine Miller of Sandwich, her step mother Bernice Miller of Sandwich and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred, her sisters Clara Shamburgh, Shirley Risk, Elizabeth Deutch. Graveside service will be held Monday September 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery with Reverend Joe MacDonald officiating. Memorials may be directed to FVOAS or Sandwich Sports Boosters.
