Charles ( Chuck ) R. Jones

Charles (Chuck) R. Jones 78 of Plano, IL passed away at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 3, 1938 in Plano IL to Shelty and Emma (Elza) Jones. He married Mary Weber on June 30, 1961 at Salem Lutheran Church and spent the next 55 years happily married. Chuck worked at All Steel and Plano Molding. He was in the Navy, a Sandwich Moose member, and a Mason. He loved golfing, was an avid Chicago White Sox fan, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Each of his grandchildren were the apple of his eye. Chuck loved all his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them all. He is survived by his wife Mary, his daughter Sherri Dhuse of Yorkville, his grandchildren; Leah and Skye Jones, Sam and Shelby Dhuse, his sister Carol (Jim) Spears of Plano, and several family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Shelty in 2009, three brothers Ralph, Everette, and James Jones and his sister Gloria Jean Haycraft. Visitation will be Friday February 3, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL. Funeral services will be Saturday February 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Beverage Family Funeral Home with Stan Motley officiating. Interment will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
