Lonnie Dean Bateman

Lonnie Dean Bateman 83 of Plano, IL. passed away on May 5, 2017 at Rush Copley Hospital. He was born on May 8, 1933 to William and Ruby Mae (Belt) Bateman. Lonnie was a truck driver driving for P.I.E Transport Service and Rogers Cartage, liked to work on cars, loved motorcycle riding and traveling. He is survived by his wife Betty, his children; Allen (Cindy) Bateman of Tinley Park, IL., Steve (Laurie) Bateman of CA., Linda Bateman of Lockport, IL., and Michael Bateman of Leland, IL., and his 13 precious grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother James. Funeral services will be held on May 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral home in Sandwich, IL. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Joe MacDonald will officiate. Burial will follow at the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
