Robert ( Bob ) Glen Sigrist

Robert (Bob) Glen Sigrist, 86, of Sandwich, IL. passed away May 16th 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on December 12, 1930 to Glen and Mae (Jasper) Sigrist in Farina, IL. He moved from Southern IL. to Plano IL. to work at J & L Gas Station. The company gave him his own station in Sandwich, IL., and he worked for the corporation for 44 years. He married Pearl ( Wilson) Minick in 1984 in Sycamore IL. and was happily married for the next 33 years. He was a snow bird and loved going to Florida for the winter and played Bingo going at least 4 times a week. He is survived by his wife Pearl, his children; Stan (Darlene) Sigrist of Sandwich, Sharon (Ron) Chancey of South Dakota, Carol (Jon) Dillon of Flagler Beach FL. Gary Minick of Sandwich, Terry Minick of Seneca, and Don (Laura) Minick of Plano. His sisters, Selma (Larry) Wilhelm of Lincoln, IL and Janice Torbaeck of Decatur, IL., 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter Becky Sigrist, and his brothers, Albert and Dallas. Funeral services will be Saturday May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home in Sandwich with Pastor David Kaul officiating, interment will follow at Little Rock Township Cemetery.
