Carl ( Goose ) Edward Raguse

Carl “Goose” Edward Raguse, 79 of Plano, IL. passed away suddenly at his home on July 18, 2017. He was on December 3, 1937 to Carl and Vona (Todd) Raguse in Sandwich, IL. He married Janice Hagar on February28, 1958 at the Sandwich Methodist Church in Sandwich and was happily married for the next 59 years. Carl loved to work, helping out his neighbors, and always loved to carpentry work. He worked as a carpenter for Howard Casner in Plano, and Ed Evans in Big Rock before working 28 years at Rush Copley and retiring in August of 2016 at the age of 78. Carl loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Janice, his daughter Jodi Raguse, his son, Rick (Randy Talcott) Raguse, his sister Pat Wilson, sister in law Carol Raguse his granddaughter Danni Shapiro, grandson Matt Shapiro, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Scott and brother in law Henry Wilson. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 10:00-12:00.p.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry Street Sandwich, IL.. Memorial service will be at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Jensen officiating. Arrangements were handled by Beverage Family Funeral Home Sandwich, IL.
