Anna Jennie O'Gara

Anna Jennie O’Gara 93 of Sandwich formally of Aurora passed away August 7, 2017 at Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion, Sandwich, IL. She was born on January 24, 1924 in Oak Park, IL. to the late Arthur and Ethel ( MacKenzie ) Olsen. She married James O’Gara on February 18, 1950 in Chicago, they were married 58 years, he precedes her in death. Anna enjoyed knitting and crocheting and doing crafts. She was known for her blankets she made. She enjoyed cooking and baking and being a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Kathryn ( Don ) Morgan of Sandwich and her great granddaughter Elena ( O’Gara-Arnold ) Brust , great great granddaughter Paisley Brust. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James 2008 and grandson Michael 1997. Funeral services will be August 12, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Beverage Family Funeral Home 104 Terry St. Sandwich IL. with Rev. Derek Johnsen Officiating. Visitation will be held same day from 9:30 a.m. till the time of service. Interment to follow at Spring Lake Cemetery Aurora, IL.
